Programme's Message

The Department of Computer Programming is the science of computer use, software design, information security, hardware maintenance, repair and the establishment and management of computer networks.

The main purpose of Computer Programming in Beykent University is to educate qualified individuals who will work in the software and hardware field in the IT sector, know the technology, convert the information into production, realize the applications and activities in the field with analytical thinking, take responsibility and develop themselves continuously.

In our Department, apart from courses such as Database Management Systems, Computer Hardware, Operating Systems, Algorithm and Programming, Visual Programming, Internet Programming, Computer Networks, Object Oriented Programming with Java, C # Programming, there are also Directed Project and Internship in order to monitor to what extent the aims of the Department are reached.

Our graduates can work in IT and software departments of corporate companies, IT and software development departments of SMEs, public institutions, software development companies, information technology training and consultancy companies.

Students may transfer to Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology and Information Systems, Computer and Information Systems, Computer and Instructional Technology Teaching, Computer-Informatics, Information Systems Engineering, Information Systems and Technologies, Information Technologies, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics and Computer Sciences, Mathematics-Computer, Software Engineering and Industrial Engineering on the condition that they become successful in VTE (Vertical Transfer Exam).
