Finance - Banking and Insurance

The Banking and Insurance Programme aims to educate prospective qualified employees that the finance sector needs. 

Students who graduated from the Department of Banking, Computerised Accounting, Stock Market Services, Maritime and Port Management, Foreign Trade, Real Estate Brokerage, General Services (Railways), Business Administration, Business Management (Railways), Accounting, Sales Management and Advertising, Insurance, Facility Management, and also the students who graduated from the Trade High School within the period when the instructions were not divided into branches can apply for the Programme without examination. Students who graduated from other departments or high schools are placed at the Programme according to their equally-weighted scores received the university entrance examination. 

Our Programme is planned in accordance with the needs of the sector, and enables our students to start their professional life as ready as possible after their graduation. To this end, the Programme includes the courses in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, and Law, as well as the occupational courses regarding Banking and Insurance. The courses are taught by our experienced staff. 

Graduates of the Programme can pursue an undergraduate degree in Banking, Economics, Insurance, Econometrics, etc. through Vertical Transfer Examination. Graduates of the Department of Banking and Insurance can work in banks, insurance companies, and other financial organisations. 

The Banking and Insurance Programme offers Turkish-medium instruction. English Preparatory Programme is optional.
