Graphic Design (Evening Education)

Along with the globalisation, the development of communication technology has made the countries and cultures closer to one another, and it has dynamised the advertising business. The developments have made the fields of publicity and advertising more important. With the help of theoretical and practical courses which constitute the parts of our modern educational programme prepared by the Department of Graphic Design, and enable our students to solve conceptual problems; the Programme ensures that our students will be able to improve their creativity and understanding of aesthetics, and use a computer and the internet efficiently during the design and production processes. Students learn by practising all the processes from the beginning of conceptual design to the production of printed materials.

The Department of Graphics aims to educate prospective designers who are creative, and can use complex equipment required by the era they live in. Students will be able to gain a broader perspective, read a lot, question, be open-minded, sensitive, and creative, by the time they graduate from the Programme. With the modern computer laboratory, constantly renewed educational programme, and the most important, the highly qualified academic staff, the Programme aims to realise its objectives.

Our understanding of modern instruction does not only focus on educating prospective semi-skilled labour, but also to educate individuals who are able to be aware of their environment and happenings, question, make syntheses, and projects, gain a creative identity to give priority to aesthetic values. With all this, we contribute to our country.

The Programme offers Turkish-medium instruction. The English Preparatory Programme is optional.
