Students will be able to:

  1. Explain the basic concepts of aviation.

    1.1.  Explain the basic concepts such as airport, airside, landside, apron, runway, taxiway, ramp, parking position, dangerous goods, marshalling, push-back operation, and check-in.

  2. Recall the national and international aviation rules.

    1.1.  Comprehend the basic terminology related to the national and international aviation legislation.

  3. Recall the theoretical and practical knowledge about dangerous goods.

    1.1.  Recognise the approved dangerous goods, exempted dangerous goods, and dangerous goods classes, and recall the methods to ensure the safety of dangerous goods.

  4. Recognise meteorological concepts.

    1.1.  Explain the meteorological events in the atmosphere, the meteorological events dangerous for flight, and the meteorological reports and documents used in aviation.

  5. Recall the main principles about planes.

    1.1.  Classify the aircrafts, comprehend the aerodynamics of a plane, and recall the knowledge about plane and engine indicators and avionic systems.

  6. Recall the national and international regulations and legislation related to possible safety problems in airports.

    6.1.  Recall the knowledge about the safety systems and entrance checks, land and flight safety, pre-boarding safety, luggage and air cargo safety, aircraft safety checks and searches, and arms.
