Learning Objectives

Oral and Dental Health Programme aims to educate prospective technical employees with high qualifications who will assist dentists during their clinical works, and carry out the laboratory works. Public and private hospitals are in considerable need of Oral and Dental Health Technologists. To this end, our main aim is to educate students who will apply the professional and ethical rules, meet the needs of our country for semi-skilled employees who attach importance on ethical and moral values.

Graduates of Oral and Dental Health Programme are awarded the title ‘‘Dental Health Technologists’’. Graduates of the Programme can work in oral and dental health centres, public hospitals, university hospitals, teaching and research hospitals, private hospitals, dental prosthetics laboratories, or private clinics. They can apply for a position of Health Technologist with their KPSS scores (Public Personnel Selection Examination). Graduates of Oral and Dental Health Programme can be regarded as fortunate in that many personnel are hired in the category of KPSS associate degree.
