Oral and Dental Health Technologists will be able to:

  • Define the fundamental theories regarding the field, and recognise the concept of lifelong learning.
  • Apply the scientific and ethical rules while collecting, interpreting data in their profession, and delivering its results.
  • Define the basic terms of Oral and Dental Health, and describe basic practices in the field.
  • Use computer programmes and relevant technologies, and define the problems when they encounter a device failure.
  • List the sterilisation and disinfection processes.
  • Maintain the order in clinics, follows the admissions of patients, appointments, and the needs for supplies.
  • Be in contact with patients, their relatives, doctors, and other health professionals.
