Vocational Schools

Educational Objectives

The aim of this Programme is to create the qualified labour for the emergency units of institutions and organisations, especially health institutions.

The Programme of First Aid and Emergency Medical Services educates students on emergency aid and rescue practices, emergency patient care, principles of patient care, bleeding control, establishing vascular access, and some basic drug administrations. The Programme aims to educate the students to become individuals who strictly adhere to medical ethics and deontological rules, respect patient rights, and have the mental and physical fitness to fulfil the duties they are assigned with under any circumstances.

Upon completing all the vocational practices and internships required by the Programme, students are awarded the title Health Technologist and work in prehospitalisation medical care services, and all emergency departments.
