Programme's Message

Surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy are used in the treatment of cancer which is one of the most prominent health problems today. Radiotherapy is a method where radiation is used to eliminate the tumour in patients with cancer. Radiotherapy technologists are the health professionals who administers the radiotherapy in the patients in accordance with the diagnosis of the radiation oncologists and the treatment plan drawn up by the radiation oncologists and medical physicists. The Radiotherapy Programme aims to educate competent and responsible prospective technical professionals who administer and facilitate radiotherapy and are able to use the devices which ensure treatment success. At this Programme, the medium of instruction is Turkish and the Preparatory School education is optional.
