Conceptual – Factual:

Students will be able to:

  1. Recall the basic theoretical and practical knowledge in Physics, Anatomy, Physiology, and Oncology.
  2. Recall the knowledge about ethics and rules of their field.

ABILITIES:

Cognitive – Application:

Students will be able to:

  1. Implement radiation safety protocols.
  2. Take part in the operation of ionising radiation-producing devices, and detect and report the faults and failures relating to these devices.
  3. Prepare other apparatuses, if any, for the operation of these devices.

COMPETENCES:

Competence of Working Independently and Taking Responsibility:

Students will be able to:

  1. Fulfil a duty independently using the basic knowledge and background they have about their field.

Competence of Learning:

Students will be able to:

  1. Evaluate the basic knowledge and skills they have acquired about their field critically.
  2. Identify their learning requirements and orientate their learning.

  1. Communicate professionally, in writing and orally, with the patients and their relatives in consideration of their cultural sensitivities.

Field-Specific Competence:

Students will be able to:

  1. Perform the quality control checks for each approved treatment plan first, and then verify the treatment before it is performed by evaluating the directives, management plans, and images relating to the treatment plan.
  2. Consider the side effects and possible complications to ensure that the treatment procedures most suitable for the specific patients’ care are implemented, and the approved treatment is administered safely.
