Programme Outcomes

Graduates of the Programme of Civil Aviation Cabin Services will be able to:

  1. Recall the basic information about the theories, concepts, notions, and principles of civil aviation.
  2. Recall the information about civil aviation industry and its sub-branches of business.
  3. Recall the information about the regulations, professional standards, and practices of civil aviation.
  4. Perform the cabin services activities, procedures, and safety measures.
  5. Manage the emergency and safety procedures practices.
  6. Recognise the global and social effects of the procedures related to Civil Aviation Cabin Services.
  7. Undertake ethical responsibility and apply it to their job.
  8. Use the knowledge they have acquired about civil aviation in their workplaces and to develop their profession.
  9. Come up with solutions to problematic practices and problems in accordance with regulations and relevant procedures.
  10. Use the cabin equipment.
  11. Perform and develop the service processes related to their field in a way to satisfy the consumers based on their requirements and demands.
  12. Use communication technologies effectively.
  13. Perform the cabin services procedures.
  14. Use their knowledge, skills and competence to plan and manage events for their professional development, and conduct teamwork.
  15. Identify the problems related to their field, and describe their causality.
  16. Conduct numeric and statistical research about civil aviation, predict the consequences of the future decisions, consider the causalities, think analytically, and develop a strategic approach.
  17. Work in teams, take responsibility, show leadership skills, and communicate with experts from other fields.
  18. Analyse different situations requiring decisions.
  19. Realise the importance of cabin services for the provision of civil aviation services, as well as the importance and detailed application of flight safety and other technical procedures.
  20. Follow and predict the developments and trends.
  21. Use the knowledge they have acquired about civil aviation in their workplace and for professional development.
  22. Have a good command of General and Business English, and use the operating systems effectively required for their job.
  23. Use spoken and written Turkish proficiently, and speak eloquently.
