Programme's Message

Today, rapidly developing technology and the ever-complicating relation between production and management require that the business institutions are well managed, and the products are to be consumed. The competition has been increased, and consumer demands have gained new dimensions. Within this scope, communication studies are in considerable need in order to promote and advertise the products and services offered by business institutions. To this end, studies based on scientific methods are carried out to enable more efficient communicational practices. The Programme adopts an educational strategy which will enable students to improve their conceptual knowledge through practice during the four terms of education.

The Programme focuses on practice and skills, as well as theories. To this end, the courses taught in the 1st and 2nd academic terms involve basic knowledge in the field, while the courses taught in the 3rd and 4th academic terms involve professional practices.

As well as acquiring the conceptual knowledge in their field, students participate in workshops on developing public relations strategies and corporate identity, and corporate communication. Besides, with their knowledge of advertising strategies and planning, they will be able to work in the advertising or communication department of a business organisation.

The Programme offers Turkish-medium instruction. English Preparatory Programme is optional.
