Educational Objectives

The main objective of this Programme is to educate the allied health technical professionals required for anaesthetic applications. The two-year education aims to give the theoretical and practical background for the procedures and applications in anaesthesia, intensive care, and pain medicine units, give technical information about the equipment used in anaesthesia and intensive care units, and enable students to gain experience in cardiovascular resuscitation. Completing all the vocational practices and internships required by the Programme, students graduate with the title Anaesthesia Technologist. Currently, a majority of graduate anaesthesia technologists have already been employed by the Ministry of Health to fill the positions it has opened lately. Some of our alumni have been employed by our University. Besides public institutions, private hospitals and clinics are also significant opportunities of employment for the graduates of this Programme.
