Conceptual and Factual:

Students will be able to:

  1. Have basic knowledge of the concepts related to electroneurophysiology, and the duties and responsibilities of the profession.
  2. Improve their sense of responsibility.

 

Abilities

Cognitive – Application:

Students will be able to:

  1. Use the basic knowledge and skills, interpret data, and analyse possible problems related to electroneurophysiology.
  2. Recognise when and how to use the medical devices used in electroneurophysiology units.
  3. Use the neurophysiological methods required to analyse cognitive and behavioural functions of the brain and detect disorders caused by impairment of these functions under the supervision of otorhinolaryngologists, neurologists, pulmonologists, psychiatrists, paediatricians, and physiologists.
  4. Have the theoretical medical background.
  5. Use electronic devices in their field.
  6. Keep up with the information and technical advancements.
  7. Respect ethical values.
  8. Recognise the area of business, organisational structure, and departments of the enterprise they work in.
  9. Explain the services given in electroneurophysiology units.
  10. Recognise the terms related to diagnosis and treatment of the patients presenting to the electroneurophysiology units.
  11. Have the knowledge of the safety practices and procedures applied in their units.
  12. Display the necessary level of care about patient rights and confidentiality.
  13. Work with the responsibility required by teamwork with their colleagues both in the electroneurophysiology unit and across the hospital.

Students will be able to:

  3. Follow the information and technological developments in their profession.

Communicative and Social Competence

Students will be able to:

  1. Express their thoughts on the matters related to their fields in writing and orally at the level of basic knowledge and skills they have.
  2. Follow the rules of written and oral communication.
  3. Do homework / prepare reports.
  4. Make oral presentations.
  5. Share their thoughts on the matters and solutions to the problems related to their field with both experts and non-experts.
  6. Do guided studies.
  7. Share their thoughts on the matters and solutions to the problems related to their field with both experts and non-experts during internships.
  8. Use a foreign language at least at ELP A2 General Level to follow the new developments in their field, and communicate with their colleagues.
  9. Use English at ELP A2 Level.
  10. Use software, as well as information and communication technologies, at least at Base Level of the European Computer Driving Licence required by their field.
