Students will be able to:

    Students will be able to:

  2. Apply the basic knowledge and skills in Physiotherapy, evaluate data, and solve possible problems.
  3. Describe the purpose and usage of devices used in Physiotherapy units, and take part in practices such as TENS, ultrasound, and Hotpack applied by a Physiotherapy Specialist, and Physiotherapist in a Physiotherapy Unit.
  4. Define the activities, organisational structure, and departments of an organisation they are involved in, and the services offered within the Physiotherapy Unit.
  5. Explain the terms relating to the diagnosis and treatment of a patient presenting to the Unit.
  6. Explain the safety procedures applied in a Physiotherapy Unit.
  7. Receive information from relevant departments regarding the patients presenting to the Physiotherapy Unit.
  8. Assist an authorised Physiotherapist during an application if they need.
  9. Describe the transfer aids patients use (wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, etc.), and help patients.
  10. Recognise different types of diseases, treatments suitable for each disease.
  11. Respect patient rights and privacy.
  12. Work in collaboration with other hospital staff in the Physiotherapy unit and take responsibility.

    Students will be able to:

    Students will be able to:

  17. Recall that knowledge and skills they acquired will not be enough in the future.
  18. Follow the information technologies and developments in their profession.

  20. Communicate their ideas based on their basic knowledge and skills regarding their field both verbally and in writing.

  21. Share their ideas and solutions to the problems in their field with experts and non-experts.

  22. Use a foreign language at the elementary level (A2) of the European Language Portfolio to search for information regarding their level, and communicate with a colleague.
